Clara Johnston

My identity space is the landscape, formative of everything I think, do and am. It is in it where I can perceive the vitality of existence, since I myself am an emanation of the landscape. This idea accompanies me intensely and has influenced my work both in terms of research, theoretical production as a creative act and also what is specifically related to the production of work.

I could define my work as deep reflections on the landscape but also on color. I sincerely believe in blue because the color, like the landscape, is not innocent.
